Aaron Brown

Raised in an environment in which he was encouraged
to believe he could do anything he wanted to, Aaron has enjoyed the freedom of making 3D objects for as long as he can remember.

Aaron says, While traveling in Thailand with my wife, I met an artist making figure sculptures out of wax. We couldn’t communicate verbally but through watching and with hand gestures he kindled a desire in me to start sculpting.

Aaron loves simple strong designs in his pendants, and has been exploring mixing silver and jade into representational insects sculptures. In September 2015, he was invited to show a piece in China’s national Zi Gan Bei jade carving competition. The sculpture he took, ‘Inner Light’, was an articulated jade Atlas Beetle, and won a Gold award. Aaron looks forward to exploring this approach and subject matter further.
