Born in Northumberland, England, Amelia Rothwell is a contemporary jeweller based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Her practice explores the tactility of materials and their relationship to the body. She is drawn to simple, quiet forms.
Amelia has an Advanced Diploma in Jewellery from Hungry Creek Art and Craft School and Manakau Institute of Technology and an MA in Cultural Studies from The University of Leeds.
